Exciting start to Dubai Open for Basketball Academies continues

Sport360X & Sports Mania tipped-off the 2024/25 edition of Dubai Open for Basketball Academies – DOBA; the ultimate youth basketball league that gathers UAE basketball academies.

This championship is under the supervision of Dubai Sports Council and UAE Basketball Association. DOBA is divided into two sub-leagues: Division 1 & Division 2 for Boys and Girls and includes six different age categories: Under-8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 19.

The tournament is played at Citizens School – Al Satwa & Swiss International Scientific School – Al Jaddaf.

An exciting Week 1 saw U-19 boys Falcons team grabbing the win over Sharjah & Mowen were victorious over JAM in U-12 boys. On another side, JAM U16 boys won the game against JD.

Week 2’s main fixtures witnessed Twenty Four U-16 boys be victorious over Al Nasr Club & Falcons U-14 boys over Proball. As for the girls, NBA Basketball School U-12 grabbed the win over Dubai Tribe and U-14 JAM girls added a win on their record over Wildcats.
