Chris Willock: ‘More to come’ from table-topping Cardiff City says winger

Cardiff have been transformed this season under Barry-Murphy, who has turned to the younger players in his squad to make an impact.

The former Manchester City academy coach has also implemented a style of football the club has not seen for a number of years.

“I’m really enjoying myself,” said Willock.

“The gaffer gives us a lot of confidence with a style of play that suits all our players.

“We need to keep buying into what he is doing on the training field and I’m sure we will improve even more.

“We need to keep going and working hard and there’ll be more wins to come.”

Willock had struggled to make an impact through the first few games of the season, and he hopes to build on a brilliant goal at Kenilworth Road.

“I enjoyed it, we played really well and deserved to win,” Willock said.

“I’m really enjoying my time under him [Barry-Murphy] so far.

“I’ve got to keep believing and trusting in the process, and I’m sure I can show more to the club and the fans.”
