Major cryptocurrency firms are increasingly looking to partner with sports teams to boost their presence among sports enthusiasts. Polkadot is the latest crypto company to become a major sponsor of Inter Miami. The deal enables the Polkadot brand to be featured on the team’s assets, starting from this Saturday’s match.

Based on the sponsorship deal, Polkadot will be recognized as Inter Miami’s Global Training Partner. Additionally, the Polkadot’s logo will be featured on the club’s tops as part of the agreement.

Polkadot Will Promote Its Brand On Inter Miami’s Infrastructure

Chrissy Hill, Chief Operating Officer of Parity Technologies, Polkadot’s major contributor, commented on the development.

He stated that the deal is an exciting one as the team of global superstars will start wearing the company’s brand on their jerseys. It will further expose the company to a global audience, which will enable it to become more popular within the industry and outside.

Also, Polkadot can promote its brand on the club’s infrastructure, including on social media, and within the stadium. Millions of the club’s fans can also see the club’s logo when the team is watched on the screen.

The club’s Florida-based Chase Stadium can accommodate 21,550 spectators. According to the official announcement concerning the deal, it will enable the Polkadot’s brand to be more visible in the stadium and its exterior.

The club’s social media handles will also expose the company’s name and logo, which is another way to boost its customer base. Inter Miami has 306,000 subscribers on YouTube, 1.2 million followers on X, 6.5 million followers on Facebook, and 17 million followers on Instagram.

More Firms Are Inking Deals To Sponsor Several Football Clubs

American fans are increasingly engaging with soccer, the US name for football. While the sport’s engagement in South America and Europe is very high, its engagement in the US is growing rapidly. Investors are pouring huge money into the industry, and many companies want to become part of its expansion in the region.

Inter Miami is a major club in US soccer. The club became more known after English football legend, David Beckham, became one of the club’s partners. The club further extended its popularity in the US and the world by signing football’s superstar and 8-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi.

There has been an increased interest in shirt sponsorship over the past few weeks, as the new season kicks off across different regions. Gate.io inked a partnership deal with Italian football giant Inter Milan. Similarly, Blockchain firm BlockDAG recently entered a $10 million sponsorship deal with German top fight club Borussia Dortmund (BVB).
