Telegram’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Pavel Durov, has praised Hamster Kombat. He has applauded the crypto game booming on his chief messaging platform as the fastest-growing digital service worldwide.
On his Telegram channel, Durov said that a new age is starting, and the world is experiencing it live. He stated that Hamster Kombat is leading the way in the latest generation of mini-applications, and he believes these mini-apps will make blockchain technology accessible to everyone.
The Game Is Seeing An Increase Of 4-5 Million New Users Every Day
Mini apps such as Hamster Kombat are accessible to Telegram’sTelegram’s over 900 million users. Several, like Hamster Kombat and its forerunner Notcoin, have connected to The Open Network, Telegram’s preferred blockchain, to attract players with cryptocurrency incentives.
For weeks, Hamster Kombat has claimed a vast and fast-growing userbase, and Durov confirmed this on Thursday. He noted that the mini-app has garnered an impressive 239 million signups in just three months.
Durov added that the game is seeing four to five million new users every day on average, which, by his calculation, makes it the fastest-growing online service in existence right now.
Hamster Kombat is having a worldwide impact. A few days ago, Iranian government officials criticized the game’s popularity. The officials claimed that it was a Western strategy for a “soft war” before their presidential election and luring Iranians with promises of “instant wealth without effort.
The game’s eagerly awaited airdrop is expected to occur sometime this month. Hamster Kombat leads the growing list of popular Telegram crypto games, with other notable titles including W-Coin, PixelTap, Catizen, TapSwap, and Yescoin.
Telegram Introduces A “Mini App Bar” Feature For Easy Switching Between Games
Telegram, a popular messaging app, is seeing a crypto gaming explosion thanks to tap-to-earn games such as Hamster Kombat and Notcoin, which have drawn millions of players to its mini apps. Now, Telegram has streamlined the process for players to jump between these games on its Android and iOS apps.
Earlier this week, Telegram introduced a new future for its mobile apps called the “mini app bar. This feature will enable multitasking by letting users quickly switch between several open games.
Earlier, Durov also posted a video about the new Telegram update. The app now includes a panel where users can neatly minimize mini-apps. Channel owners also received access to rewards in Toncoin via special Telegram Stars.
The founder’s video showcases Hamster Kombat as an example of a mini-application that can be minimized. This aspect instantly drew the community’s interest.
