MetaQuotes Revels the Latest Beta of the Popular MetaTrader 5 Trading Solution

MetaQuotes finally revealed the MetaTrader 5 platform’s beta build 4330, unveiling the details of the new upgrade to the popular trading solution. According to the company, the new beta build will include analytical tools for traders, as well as new resources for developers.

For example, developers will be able t use support for the new ChatGPT model, GPT-4o, which will be able to help with completing code, offering useful tips, and more.

What to expect from MT5 Beta Build 4330?

According to MetaQuotes, MetaTrader 5 will come with several new key additions, one of which is the new list of analytical objects. This will include a ruler, that will allow traders to measure time and prices, as well as the ability to draw various shapes on charts, like triangles, rectangles, ellipses, or circles. Analysts will also be able to add labels, which will all be helpful in technical analysis.

Next, the company also conducted various optimizations and bug fixes regarding the MT5 Client Terminal. Now, the tool includes increased precision when displaying calculation prices. On top of that, the Maximum Favorable Excursion and Maximum Adverse Excursion calculations in the final trading report have been fixed.

The firm’s developers also improved saving and restoring the filtering settings on the economic calendar, so traders won’t have to rebuild them from scratch each time. In the past, there were also reports of issues related to the options board, application of templates to charts, and position editing dialog, which have now been fixed.

The team also touched upon the MQL5 programming language, further optimizing and accelerating the ArrayResize function. This could result in 40% faster executions, under certain conditions. Next, the new beta build will also bring updated support for ONNX, and the removal of multiple bugs reported in the MessageBox function, parsing of macros, and initialization of MQL5 programs.

MT5 4330 Testing Phase Has Started

The firm invited traders to join the testing of the new version and experience all the new features for themselves. If they find further bugs using MT5 4330, they can easily report them to developers, who will remove them as quickly as possible. Users can update MT5 to the new beta build by going to Help, then Check Desktop Updates, and then Latest Beta Version.

The build will be fully released after the beta testing phase ends, although the team has not specified the date yet.

But, apart from everything mentioned so far, the team has also added a few new additions to the MetaEditor — the integrated development environment for MT5. It now has a welcoming page, which will be of use to beginners and experts alike as they delve into algorithmic trading and app development.

The page offers access to educational materials, language documents, various books and articles, developer forums, and even the code base library. There is now also a service where devs can apply their knowledge, and even monetize it.
