Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has announced the launch of pre-market futures. The new features enable users to trade futures contracts with double leverage for new tokens before being offered to the public.

The crypto exchange stated that the new feature will allow traders to start engaging with upcoming tokens even before their official launch date. The exchange will offer future contracts with leverage for the new tokens. It will be creating a platform that will open up new opportunities in the crypto space.

OKX Aims To Reduce Trading Barriers

The new feature will integrate systems that provide a better speculative and trading experience than the normal peer-to-peer (P2P) pre-market offerings. It will enable customers to trade without holding any underlying asset.

The aim, according to OKX, is to reduce trading barriers for both experienced and new traders. The pre-market features will give its users first-hand experience with the upcoming tokens before they are announced to the public.

Global Chief Commercial Officer at OKX, Lennix Lai, commented about the offering. He stated that the exchange’s extensive experience and robust risk engine are backing the early-stage tokens.

The platform uses a unique approach that will assist traders in entering the market early, especially for upcoming tokens. He added that the company is creating new opportunities for users to participate in crypto, making trading more appealing, efficient, and accessible.

The Pre-Market Futures offers early entry to traders on the platform. This enables them to participate in price discovery, taking advantage of the initial hype around upcoming tokens. Compared to previous P2P-based pre-market products, the feature provides superior liquidity for traders.

Hamster Kombat’s HMSTR Token Will Be Added To The Products

Also, unlike other P2P-based pre-market products, the new product for OKX will have lower fees. This makes it a more cost-effective option for those dealing with new token offerings.

Hamster Kombat’s HMSTR is the first token on the new Futures trading. The Telegram-based token will be announced, but traders will have the opportunity to have an experience with the token before being launched. This shows OKX’s goal of offering exciting new options for traders.

However, while OKX is launching its products and services in several new regions, the crypto exchange is also suspending or discontinuing its services in other regions. The exchange recently stopped its license application in Hong Kong. It also stopped its services in Nigeria, citing regulatory difficulties. OKX is gradually pulling out from the country and will complete its exit in August.
