England: Anthony Gordon withdraws from squad to face Latvia because of hip injury

While Gordon will not feature at Wembley, Levi Colwill, Marc Guehi, Morgan Rogers and Dominic Solanke are pushing to be involved in Monday’s game.

Asked if there would be changes to his starting line-up, Tuchel said: “Yes and no.

“No-one will be dropped from a performance point of view, but if we have fresh legs available we are not afraid to do it.”

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Dan Burn were both handed their debuts in defence on Friday, while Ezri Konsa earned his 10th cap and midfielder Curtis Jones a third.

And although England started with victory in his first game in charge, Tuchel admitted they “have to do better”.

“We have reasons to let all of them play again and say ‘let’s do better’, but we also have reports from the physical department of some concerns,” he said.

“It’s only the second day after the match and we need to be cautious. Maybe it will be a mix between both.

“We have two or three players who felt their legs after the match so let’s see.”
